In atypical fashion, the often secretive COMME des GARÇONS has announced the workings of its upcoming New York branch of its successful multi-brand Dover Street Market concept. Joining both the original London and Tokyo locations, the New York addition will be located in a 20,000-square-foot, seven-story building on 160 Lexington Avenue at 30th street. Despite the announcement, an opening isn’t slated until December 2013 at the 103 year old building previously home to the New York School of Applied Design for Women as well as Touro College.
