As 2012 is currently set to wrap up in less than a week, it’s about that time for everyone to really hunker down and get those New Year’s resolutions together. One artist who’s already got his resolution set is A$AP Rocky, and according to his recent interview with NME, Pretty Flacko is aiming high. Going on to share:
Just to put out the best fucking record ever. I think I’ve done that so maybe I need another one. I like creative control. I’m passionate about shit, y’know. I like it to be just how I want it.
Rocky already feels that his highly-anticipated debut album Long.Live.A$AP fulfills his year-long resolution, and with guest features such as Skrillex, Kendrick Lamar, Drake and Florence Welch, the odds are currently in his favor. Rocky also went on to discuss the setback issues his album encountered during the interview going on to say:
The issue with my album is I got things on it that’s so out of this world that it’s taking so long to get mastered. That’s the issue, and I refuse to take anything off. It’s complete, everything is being mastered and cleared right now. It’s just so hard to get things cleared, because you got to find people to clear samples.
Long.Live.A$AP hits shelves January 15.
