A mini three-part documentary was released today showing the Mercury Award-winning band The xx in their true colors. Split into three consecutive parts – in the studio, rehearsal and live performance — the band narrates their creative process, creation behind live sets, and feelings towards playing shows abroad. In the end we see performances of “Friction,” “Angels” and “Tides” from their latest album Coexist. Directed by filmmaker, photographer and head of XL sub-label Hot Charity, Jamie-James Medina presents an intimate piece that exposed the band’s sentiment towards their music and those who receive it.
