S O H N - The Wheel

At the end of September, London-bred, Vienna-based artist S O H N‘s single, “The Wheel,” erupted onto the blogosphere after he uploaded it to his SoundCloud page. It’s garnered over 180,000 plays since and, in turn, thrust the singer-songwriter and producer into the limelight as one of the new indie acts to keep an eye and ear on. As a result of all of the buzz, S O H N recently inked a deal with Vagrant Records, who worked with his Aesop label to release his debut EP, which is also titled The Wheel. In addition, VICE Magazine’s music channel, Noisey, caught wind of the talent and signed up to back the official video for his momentous single. This brand new visual piece for “The Wheel” uses clips of nature and machinery, and subtle choppy effects that match the song’s beat to emphasize the message of the lyrics and enhance the audio experience.
