For founders Joshy D. and Mike Giant, REBEL8 was always about sharing their trademark lifestyle through individual products. For Fall/Winter 2012, the label again adheres closely to its roots in skateboarding, graffiti and tattoo culture for a collection of streetwear basics embellished with the legendary Giant’s hand-illustrated work. Graphic tees, hoodies, headwear and flannel shirts abound, bearing the prints, patterns and logos that have made Giant one of the most renowned tattoo/graffiti artists working today. In keeping with the label’s gritty aesthetics, this season’s lookbook was shot by Dylan Bartolini-Volk on the streets of Tenderloin in San Francisco.
