Name.‘s “Enfant Terrible” collection for Fall/Winter 2012 was an exercise in duality. From the shadow art backgrounds of the season’s lookbook to the blend of English traditional and Japanese contemporary aesthetics, Noriyuki Shimizu’s collection blended the casual and sophisticated into one intriguing whole. Soft nylon ballcaps in camel and black were paired with classic British outerwear, slouchy tailoring and color-blocked shirting, while colors like plum, fire red and bright orange accented the blacks, greys and navy hues scattered throughout.
Highlights included a robe-like coat, patchwork shirts and checked woolen trousers, a selection of which is now available at our online store.
