While you are still nodding to his latest joint, the official first week sales number for Kendrick Lamar‘s critically acclaimed debut album good kid, m.A.A.d city city are in. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the album will debut with more than 241,000 in sales and also atop the Billboard Rap, the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop chart, and at number two on the Billboard 100 behind only Taylor Swift’s massively selling Red LP. Thus, good kid, m.A.A.d city also marks the biggest-selling debut week for any new artist debut in 2012. Congratz K-Dot.
