Pulled from a storied archive that features a number of classics, Hanon and Reebok present an updated take on the Newport Classic – a sneaker that first debuted in the ’80s and one that continues to withstand the test of time. Released as a pack of two, each features a two-piece upper, plush pig suede with glove leather lining, and semi-translucent milk rubber outsoles. Each style is assembled using an existing Reebok tooling which differs both in shape and construction to its inline equivalent. Heritage elements take shape thanks to air vent details which exist on the original version of the NPC and is mirrored from the medial side onto the toe box – along with monogram print footbed complete with foil label while dual branded detail appears by way of gold debossing on the suede and woven tongue label. Expect to see the Hanon x Reebok NPC II at select retailers in the coming months.
