Fans of Hixsept may be privy to Études, the new project by the creative minds behind the now defunct French label. Both an art collective and clothing line, French artists Aurélien Arbet and Jérémie Egry create timely mixes of menswear and streetwear, featuring innovative uses of prints, dyes and patterns. For Fall/Winter 2012, the label has released a full range of seasonal pieces — outerwear, knits, shirting, bottoms and accessories that put Arbet and Egry’s artistic backgrounds on full display. In a chromatic spectrum of royal blue, rust and multi-colors juxtaposed alongside neutral shades, each item is guaranteed to bring a little excitement into dreary winter wardrobes.
