Minimalist, driving-oriented timepiece label Autodromo and founder Bradley Price present the Monoposto. The brand’s first mechanical watch, the limited edition Monoposto (“single seat”) comes inspired by 1950s Italian grand-prix automobiles and features a 43mm polished stainless steel case alongside a Miyota 821A self-winding movement and date window. Sporting an exhibition case back and etched Autodromo logo, the watch pays homage to the red paint or tape that appeared on the driver’s rev counter – signaling when to shift gears – with its own red line crystal. Complete with a full-grain leather band and a polished roller buckle meant to evoke the look of hood straps, the Monoposto is limited to 500 total pieces and is available in either black or silver online for $875 USD.
