This past Thursday HYPEBEAST joined Jean Touitou as his Parisian fashion label A.P.C. celebrated its 25th anniversary in downtown New York. Having already left Paris and Tokyo in the wake of its turntness, the French minimalist’s flagship location on Mercer Street hosted a who’s who party of fashion elitists. With a store stripped of its merchandise, the loft-like space was transformed into a nightclub-like environment complete with disco balls, jazz pianists, free-flowing champagne, and hip-hop legend Afrika Bambaataa and DJ Kimfu on the turntables.
