It’s only Halloween, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to start getting in the Christmas spirit. To help you properly kick off the holiday season, Starbucks is releasing an album called Holidays Rule, which is comprised of 17 yuletide singalongs performed by Paul McCartney, fun., Andrew Bird, The Head and the Heart, The Civil Wars, Rufus Wainwright and more. Amongst them is a cover of “Wonderful Christmastime” by The Shins that should satisfy fans of McCartney’s 1979 original and get even the biggest indie rock-listening Grinch excited for the months ahead. Take a listen below and grab it as part of Holidays Rule, available in stores and on iTunes beginning on Tuesday, October 30.
