JeanRichard Highlands CDC Carbon Watch

Swiss watchmaker JeanRichard has unveiled its latest timepiece, the Highlands CDC Carbon Watch. Produced for a joint project between Thomas Erber and BMW, this special all-black watch sports a black PVD coated steel case and, in a nod to to its automotive influence, a carbon fiber dial and a sleek black perforated calfskin strap. Even the numbers, indexes and hands feature an all-black treatment with a coating of tone on tone luminescent material. Punctuating the all-black look is a red pointer at the end of the second hand. Ticking away inside the watch is an automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve. Unfortunately this blacked out timepiece is limited to just eight pieces worldwide.
