Los Angeles native DJ 1984 has steadily made a name for himself in the underground scene, and today we’d like to shed some light on the up-and-coming producer. Most recently releasing his Lost Tapes II beat tape, the producer/DJ formally played bass in The Knux’s live band, before really taking things serious behind the mixing board. The latest beat tape features a collection of unique production in which he flips some familiar and some unfamiliar samples, creating tunes liable to get the most hardcore hip-hop head to infectiously nod along to.
