One of the more unique residences we’ve covered on the site, the 150m Weekend House by Shinichi Ogawa & Associates lay’s claim to being the longest residence constructed this century. Perched on top of a hill in Khao Yai, Thailand, the linear residence offers panoramic views of the surrounding lake and green spaces. At the eastern end of the residence is the entry gate which opens to reveal a waterfall. The ground floor houses a spa, six bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, living rooms and maid quarters; an overhanging roof provides covered deck space across the length of the residence. The second storey of the residence houses a white cube space containing living and dining areas which open up to the roof terrace and built-in 40 meter swimming pool. All in all this looks to be a fantastic house for an epic weekend getaway or two.
