Girls know how to rock n’ roll, too. There’s no denying that. But female duo Deap Vally are further solidifying the fact. With their no holds barred approach to blues rock that includes playing loud, headbanging and causing a ruckus, the Los Angeles-based collaboration of Lindsey Troy and Julie Edwards has been making waves recently throughout the U.S. and UK. In fact, their new single, “End Of The World,” which was produced and mixed by Lars Stalfors of The Mars Volta, was even liked so much by famed BBC Radio One DJ Zane Lowe that he decided to premiere it as the new ‘Hottest Record In The World’ recently.
