The Viridi-anne 2012 Fall/Winter Collection

From the get-go, the mood and direction of The Virdi-anne’s Fall/Winter 2012 lookbook looks to replicate that of critically acclaimed 1983 Russian drama NOSTALGHIA, by director Andrey Tarkovskiy. The film is based on a traveling poet by the name of Gortchakov who encounters a deranged local whose previous story involved the self-imprisonment of his family. The dark somber settings are translated into unconventional silhouettes with the setting based around Paris’s mythic “PALACE.”
