Historic UK-based headwear makers Kangol have just released a set of reversible beanies to usher in 2012 in anticipation of “The Year of the Dragon.” Featured in navy and red, each hat is marked by an elaborate ethnic jacquard pattern on one side, as well as a solid reversible option for days when you’re not feeling so festive. Made of soft and comfortable acrylic, the hats feature four segments of patterned design, including the Chinese letter for vitality as well as walking dragons to express harmony. Details include an embroidered Kangol logo on each side of the knit headwear, as well as handmade knit tassels. Each piece comes packed in a red satin bag decorated with a printed custom dragon as well as a red Spring Festival sticker. The Year of the Dragon beanies are currently available for $50 USD from Kangol’s online shop.
