Erïk Bjerkesjö, of Polimoda Future Lab, recently unveiled his latest collection, dubbed “Galop Marquis.” The Stockholm native was carefully selected by director Linda Loppa and her team to be the first talent to be presented by the Polimoda Future Lab. After earning his Master’s Degree in Footwear and Accessories back in 2010, Bjerkesjö then launched his eponymous clothing and accessories label that sees him paying homage to Italian craftsmanship and typical Swedish minimalism. For this new lineup, the designer presents a sophisticated and modern range of men’s footwear that is produced by skillful Tuscan artisans. Crafted with premium leather materials, the shoes feature numerous intricate details, including intriguing stitching, hole punches and dazzling gold pins, while a modernized branded sole rounds out each design.
