Just as they did in 2011 for their first project of 2012, The Flaming Lips have enlisted a variety of musical acts to accompany them on a forthcoming offering. Having already recorded with the likes of Neon Indian, Nick Cave, the Plastic Ono Band and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zero, the Oklahoma-originated rock band will also call upon Bon Iver to grace the LP. Word is that the two groups have already begun the creative process, as the project aims at releasing in April. The Flaming Lips do, however, have a few more artists they’d like to get their hands on in order to complete the set.
