For Balmain, having Christophe Decarnin at the reins vastly improved and invigorated the French label who saw a transition at the hands of Olivier Rousteing. Entering his sophomore showing for Balmain, military garb inspired by Russian Imperial Army uniforms yielded some smartly tailored pieces that was set alongside some of Balmain’s more signature pieces, including of course the leather division.
