Stussy Deluxe 2011 Fall Lookbook

Original Stussy New York tribe member Jules Gayton jumps in front of the lens for the Stussy Deluxe Fall/Winter 2011 lookbook. Born in London, the avid DJ, skateboarder and art fanatic moved to the states in the 1980s and landed in both California and New York for school at Pepperdine University and Parsons School of Design. While in New York, Jules became a prominent downtown DJ landing resident positions at many New York hotspots such as Area, Cheetah, Tunnel and the infamous Limelight, to name a few. It was in New York that Gayton met Shawn Stussy and the longstanding relationship with Stussy began. Gayton was a fixture in Stussy ads and DJ’ed for Stussy World Tribe parties in both Tokyo (with Tribe members Hiroshi Fujiwara, Alex Baby and Michael Koppelman) and New York. In 2001, Jules moved from New York to Hawaii where he opened his shop Leilow in 2003. He is also a partner in the fourth U.S. Stussy boutique, Stussy Honolulu which was opened in 2004.
