Odd Future Records signs their first artist

If you recall, back in April Odd Future inked a deal with Red Distribution/Sony music granting them much desired creative freedom. It appears today, the music collective has signed their first artist by the name of Young Ni**a. No further details but here’s the official press release:

While our original intent was not to sign anyone to the label we simply could not pass up the opportunity to sign somebody this talented. Young Ni**a embodies the DIY ethic and persona of Odd Future along with a commercial appeal that transcends demographics.

It was also announced that Young Ni**a’s first debut single will premiere today at 3 p.m. PST on the Odd Future website.
