Neon Indian - Era Extraña (Full Album Stream)

The other day, Texas-based band Neon Indian put out a brand new song called “Hex Girlfriend,” which will be found on their upcoming fourth album, Era Extraña. Now, as they do with many exciting indie projects, the folks over at NPR have the album streaming in its entirety until it hits stores next Tuesday, September 13. According to NPR’s Bruce Warren, it may be classified under the genres chillwave or glo-fi, “But the inventive and tuneful Era Extraña is every bit as much a pop album as, say, the Madonna classics that precede it.” If you’re a fan of Neon Indian, click here to check out the 12-track-long Era Extraña and decide for yourself if Warren’s bold statement is a correct one.
