It was regrettably announced today that Mehdi Faveris-Essadi, known to most by his stage name DJ Mehdi, has passed away at the young age of 34. The hip-hop/electro producer is best known for his work in France and as a signee to electro label Ed Banger Records. According to multiple sites, the mezzanine at Medhi’s home collapsed last night, leading to his death while leaving others hospitalized. DJ Mehdi’s death has come as a shock to the music industry and our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends and fans.
