Coldplay announce album title

Following up to their Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall project, Coldplay have confirmed that the title of fifth studio album. The LP will be titled Mylo Xyloto and will be released on October 24. According to reports, the album has been produced by Markus Dravs, Daniel Green and Rik Simpson with additional composition by Brian Eno. The album is slated to be released in digital, CD and vinyl formats. In addition there will also be a special limited edition pop-up edition, which will consist of a hardback book containing graffiti pop-up art designed by David A. Carter, vinyl, CD and exclusive content including photographs, excerpts from the studio diary, and the band’s personal notebooks.

Mylo Xyloto will be preceded by the single “Paradise,” which will come out on September 12. You can check out the official album artwork above.
