The Amazing Spider-Man Trailer

Although to some fans, it may only seem like just yesterday that the Spider-Man film franchise starring Tobey Maguire took off, it’s been nearly 10 years. In Hollywood time, that’s ages – or certainly long enough for a reboot, at least. Offered here is the first full-length official trailer for the upcoming film, The Amazing Spider-Man. Telling the old familiar story of how a young, angsty teenager named Peter Parker transforms into a superhero, the film is sure to share some similarities with its predecessor as well as some significant departures (Gwen Stacy in lieu of Mary Jane Watson). The biggest question yet to be revealed in the trailer, however, is how The Amazing Spider-Man will tackle supervillain The Lizard in the film, which is slated for a Summer 2012 release.
