Forty years ago today, the music world has lost on of its greats – Louis Armstrong. Renowned for his trumpet-playing, charismatic stage presence and voice, Armstrong’s influence extends well beyond jazz music and laid the foundation for a multiple of today’s music genres. Thus, we decided to share with you some rare footage of this distinguished artist performing “Mack the Knife” in Stuttgart, Germany in 1959. R.I.P.
