Dazed & Confused 200th Issue - Bjork Guest-Editor
It’s hard to believe that Dazed & Confused has been around since 1992. Consistently
It’s hard to believe that Dazed & Confused has been around since 1992. Consistently cutting-edge and boundary-pushing, Dazed has established itself as a distinctly creative magazine amidst an ocean of dull, trend-toting imitators. Known for quirky editorial features (Thom Yorke once interviewed himself for a piece in the magazine) as well as an uncanny prescience about who will find success in the music industry (the brand’s stable of international cover first-appearances for American artists includes Pharrell and Eminem), the publication is now commemorating its 200th issue by collaborating once again with long-time supporter, Bjork. Little is known about exactly how Bjork’s guest editing will influence this celebratory release, however, as she has worked with Dazed & Confused several times before in the past, it’s unlikely that the end product is anything short of the high standards that both the magazine and the artist consistently set for themselves.
