Coming by way of the good folks over at The FADER today is a new track by a little-known band. Brooklyn-based indie rock outfit Caveman struck a chord with the renowned magazine last year, and now the five-piece group is beginning to get the online push they need to make the fall release of their debut album, CoCo Beware, a notable one. If this track, entitled “Old Friend,” is any indicator, the rest of the project should be a smooth listen. Although Caveman doesn’t have much music available yet, blogs such as I Guess I’m Floating and We Listen For You are already in full recommendation mode advising visitors to check the band out. Perhaps we too should all keep our eyes and ears open over the next few months?
