KiD CuDi Talks 'Marijuana' Music Video

After releasing the visuals for his ode to the world’s favorite herb the other day, KiD CuDi decided to get behind the MTV News camera to clear some things up. Most importantly, as most fans know, he explains that the video for “Marijuana” was indeed shot before he decided to quit the substance. In his own words, “It was like a R.I.P. video to my whole smoking career…it’s kind of like the last hoorah, the last time you will ever see me smoking.” He also goes into detail behind how the video came together, recalling how he pitched the idea to film in Amsterdam to Shia LaBeouf while they were brainstorming ideas for the “Maniac” mini-movie, and explaining that some scenes in the video were filmed while he was judging the High Times Cannibus Cup.
