By now most people probably know the shocking ending to the 1968 original cult-classic Planet of the Apes film starring Charlton Heston – and are probably trying to forget the 2001 Tim Burton reboot. What hasn’t been explored yet, however, is how the apes ended up in their super-intelligent, world-controlling position to begin with. Offered here is the second trailer for the much-anticipated prequel to the franchise, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, starring James Franco and expected for release late this summer. Evolution becomes revolution.
