Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the set of Nike’s new facility, The Pool. With the help of park designer Dave Sowerby, an old, 1970s era swimming pool in Dagenham was dramatically transformed into this modern BMX park. The Pool will be open to the public for free until June 12 during which time visitors may watch or ride with the option to enroll in a number of ongoing, 4-week programs and workshops. An opening event at The Pool featured appearances by Garrett Reynolds, Dennis Enarson, Harry Main, Jason Phelan, Alex Kennedy, Ruben Alcantara, Brian Kachinsky, Drew Bezanson, Van Homan and Sebastian Keep.
