HUSH

Starting this weekend, UK-based artist HUSH returns to Los Angeles with a solo exhibition called “TWIN.” A collection of work demonstrating his unique blend of street and cross-cultural aesthetics, “TWIN” will feature 15 mixed-media works on canvas that relate to the idea of duality. Inspired by the symbolic nature of the female form, HUSH has produced a large-scale installation in which the walls of the gallery capture the essence of “action painting” and “pure expressionism” while addressing the issues of power, innocence, beauty and sexuality. The exhibition is scheduled to run at New Image Art Gallery from May 21-June 18, 2011.
