Carte Blanche - House Party 2: The Pyjama Jam

The good folks over at Ed Banger Records proudly present the sequel to Carte Blanche’s highly successful House Party Jam. Besides honorary work from DJ Mehdi and Riton themselves, the second installment, entitled The Pyjama Jam, boasts an impressive lineup that consists of Azari & III, Robyn, Chromeo, Thomas Bangalter and many more! I know we said it was only supposed to be a one shot. I know it was only going to be that BLACK BILLIONAIRES EP, that HOUSE PARTY mixtape, and that GARE DU NORD video. I know it was only scheduled as a ‘Once in a lifetime’ summer 2010 worldwide tour. But I was wrong. Because YOU know the fun never stops, and there’s no rest for the totally wicked.

YOU know RITON and DJ MEHDI couldn’t surrender after that UFFIE remix, that CHROMEO dub, and that SCISSOR SISTERS rerub. YOU know a remix EP on Ed Banger, featuring Chicago legend GREEN VELVET and LAIDBACK LUKE wasn’t enough. YOU know that DO DO DO video, directed by graffiti’s firstlady FAFI was only a debut.

So here we go again, DJ MEHDI and RITON are CARTE BLANCHE. Can’t stop, won’t stop! The new EP is called WHITE MAN ON THE MOON, includes smashing JACK ON THE MOON, and next single WITH YOU, featuring Alexis Taylor from Hot Chip on vocal duties. The new mixtape is called HOUSE PARTY 2: THE PYJAMA JAM.

And last but not least, the new tour is called CARTE BLANCHE REVUE, it’s worldwide, it’s DJing and TR-909ing, it’s rollerskate dancing, it’s popping, and it’s locking (for real). Oh, and it’s out this spring on Ed Banger Records, natch! I know! -Ed.
