Lupe Fiasco has something to say as he brings forth the politically minded video for his Skylar Grey-assisted song “Words I Never Said.” Sanaa Hamri, whose past work includes videos by Jay-Z, Prince, Christina Aguilera and Nicki Minaj, created the dramatic clip which highlights some of the world’s troubling issues as it follows the the Chicago rapper as a liberator fighting injustice. In order to increase the dramatic effect, the director intersperses shots of Lupe in prison with footage from 9/11 and the Gaza Strip. Off his chart-topping Lasers LP.
