The song dropped a little over a month ago and now, Atmosphere returns with the video for the second single off of their seventh studio album, The Family Sign. “She’s Enough” continues frontman Slug’s prominence in the realm of storytelling hip-hop, and the video to go along with it depicts his son as the main character of the song’s plot. With appearances by Slug himself playing his everyday role as father and his Rhymesayers labelmate Brother Ali donned in a dirty apron as a school cook, the video provides a cute, comical take on relationships. While putting gum in a girl’s hair, throwing things at her and stealing her food may not have gotten us males anything but timeout as grade-schoolers, it seems to work well in Slug Jr.’s plot to gain a certain female’s affection. His dad must have taught him the age-old saying, “nice guys finish last”… The Family Sign released yesterday and is available in stores and iTunes now.
