Self Edge is teaming up with Ken Haught for Spring/Summer 2011 to release a collection of inlaid pocket knives. A retired cowboy from Pinetop, Arizona, Haught has been making knives for the majority of his life. Knapping them himself with flint, the handles are made from inlaid wood or elk antlers that he collects in the forest around his hometown. Using high quality knife blades that have been made in Japan, Haught works with natural stones like turquoise, pipestone, fossilized ivory, jet and obsidian as well as a number of various different hardwoods from around the world like cherry wood, olive wood, bloodwood and teak. These handmade knives are available for purchase now, exclusively through Self Edge.
