Jay-Z Subject to NBA Investigation

The Kentucky Wildcats advanced to the NCAA’s Final Four this past Sunday after winning the North Carolina Tarheels (76-69). After the match, Jay-Z visited the winning team in the locker room to congratulate the players. It now appears that this action seems to be against NBA policy for Nets minority owner Shawn Carter to be there. NBA personnel are prohibited from being in contact with amateur players until they have declared for the draft. Jay’s friendship with William Wesley aka Worldwide Wes seems to be the reason of his surprise visit. Wesley, however, also has close ties with Kentucky coach and former Nets coach John Calipari. It is unlikely that Jay-Z will have to face harsh consequences but rather a small fine. You can check out the video above with Darius Miller speaking on meeting Hova.
