Brownbook & HYPEBEAST: Stephen Stapleton

At the end of 2010, HYPEBEAST undertook an extensive video project with Dubai-based magazine Brownbook. Through a series of short videos, we hoped to document and tell the story of a select few creatives who are helping develop the creativity landscapes of both the Middle East and Northern Africa. Too often, it seems as though these cultures has been viewed through only one particular lens as it offers so much more than what many have been subjected to.

A champion of the Saudi Arabian art community, Stephen Stapleton is the mind behind Edge of Arabia. Currently working in London, he hopes to shed a broader sense of light on Arabian art and its relevant creatives.
