At the end of 2010, HYPEBEAST undertook an extensive video project with Dubai-based magazine Brownbook. Through a series of short videos, we hoped to document and tell the story of a select few creatives who are helping develop the creativity landscapes of both the Middle East and Northern Africa. Too often, it seems as though these cultures has been viewed through only one particular lens as it offers so much more than what many have been subjected to.
Born in Morocco, Hassan Hajjaj made the move to London at the age of 14 where he quickly assimilated into the vibrant local music scene. Hajjaj has gone on to become well-known for his ability to juxtapose European and Arabic influences through his various platforms.
