Only a few seasons into its existence, agi&sam was originally conceived by the duo during their time at Alexander McQueen. Founded just over a year ago in January of 2010, the line offers a bold street aesthetic with ample amounts of inspiration derived from pop culture topics such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Jean-Michel Basquiat. At the heart of the collection is a theme associated with “effects of gentrification and boganistion through society and culture over the last 25 years.” To further add to the quirkiness of it all, some particular garments can be seen in their dimension via traditional 3D glasses.
