A Bathing Ape was undeniably one of the first brands to take a more high-contrast approach to footwear design with their initial range of BAPESTAs embodying bright, bold colors and patent leathers. Eventually much of the athletic footwear industry would go down this route, however the notion of hybrids has been something virtually untouched from the Japanese brand. But with the unveiling of their MANHUNT STA, the concept may be on its way to becoming more prominent. One of A Bathing Ape’s original non-sneaker styles, the MANHUNT is paired with a BAPESTA tooling and available in a handful of colors.
