This season, designer Patrik Ervell chose to show his Fall/Winter 2011 collection at Milk Studios again as opposed to his standard venue at Pier 59 on the West Side Highway. Always one to take an utmost interest in the technical aspect of the creation of his garments, Ervell showcased the fabric and construction by sending models down a runway which was draped with parachuting materials. In this video of the runway presentation, a row of electric powered fans blows onto the models as they pass by as the parachute background billow in the wind.
