The Seshen - Oblivion

Meet The Seshen, a brand new band from San Francisco that’s taking cues from the sonic dimensions of electronic, pop, hip-hop and soul music to create a pretty interesting sound of their own. The seven-piece group, which consists of drummer Julian Pont, keyboardist Mahesh Rao, percussionist Mirza Kopelman, bassist/producer Aki Ehara, synchronizer/sampler Kumar Butler, and vocalists/lyricists Lalin St. Juste and Akasha Orr, just released a few songs onto their SoundCloud page a few days ago and already people are taking notice. Amongst the aforementioned is the entrancing standout “Oblivion,” which is something like an audible journey filled with heavy bass, electronic keys, hi-hats and captivating vocals.
