As one of several artists openly involved with Occupy Wall Street, Talib Kweli lets loose the initial track from his forthcoming solo album Prisoner of Conscious. “Distractions” deals with many of the Brooklyn emcee’s thoughts regarding the recent controversial events, as he has already filmed the accommodating video at Occupy Wall Street, and it will release this Monday. We can expect the highly anticipated album to drop sometime in 2012.
