It’s hard enough to develop a brand with unique, creative styling, yet retailing your product can pose an entirely different headache. Artistic creativity has recently entered the world of retailing, and continued this past weekend with the opening of Boxpark in Shoreditch London. Created from the collaboration of fashion guru Roger Wade of Boxfresh and real estate developers Hammerson and Ballymore, this fresh retail revolution strips and refits shipping containers to create unique, low-cost ‘box shops.’ Featuring famed brands like Nike, New Era, Vans and Dockers to name a few, Boxpark brings together fashion, art and food in a socially conscience yet affordable pop-up mall, offering an inspiring shopping domain. No word on how long Boxpark will remain open or where it may venture to next, but if you’re in the London area be sure to check out this innovative retail outlet.
