Young Kim presents his newest exhibition “Past, Present, Future” at the Gallery FACTORY in Seoul, which explores themes of heritage, culture and identity. Deriving inspiration from his sense of isolation from both the Asian and American cultures in which he was raised, Young has traveled the world in a so-called universal outfit – the suit – projecting strength and emancipating him from feelings of sociocultural isolation. The exhibition consists of 20 years of traveling as ‘Suitman’ and acts as a record of Young’s travels
