Rumor: Thom Browne for H&M

H&M continues their recent buzz of high-end designer collaborations as rumors have begun to surface of a potential collaboration with famed menswear designer Thom Browne. Browne, who has been credited in the mens fashion world with the rise in popularity of the “cropped suit” look, recently hinted that he would be open to the idea of a collaboration with the Swedish retailer – if given the proper amount of time and human resources. “You know, I would never say never, but with those sort of things I really have to want to do and have the time to do it, but it really comes down to the people. I have done projects with Brooks Brothers before because they are an amazing group of people – the collection I do for Moncler is the same, I respect what they are as brands and so it really depends on that. I think that is the only real way collaborations work, when the two parties understand each other and understand where each person is coming from.” This is all the info that we have at this point about the potential collaboration, but given Browne’s talents we certainly hope this becomes a reality and will keep you updated as more facts become available.
