When it comes to visual aesthetics Robin Thicke sure is not holding anything back. The famed crooner enlisted the attractive assistance of his breathtaking wife Paula Patton to co-star in his Hype Williams-directed video for “Love After War.” The song, which serves as the first single and title track of his fifth album, deals with the ups and downs of a young matrimony. The visual companion seamlessly interprets this delicate subject. Commenting on the marriage with his wife, Thicke explains:
“My wife is an actress, a mother, and a wife and I am a husband, a father and a singer so we haven’t seen each other a lot the past couple of weeks. We won’t see each other a lot until Christmas and it’s very difficult, but the only thing that gets us by is having great sex together. There is never enough [sex]. When it does happen, it goes on for hours.”
Love After War arrives December 6.
